Warming up for the run.

If you are one of the few in the Klang Valley who have not visited Mid Valley Megamall’s Star Wars exhibition, the event runs until tomorrow. Take the chance to fit into a scaled replica of the Rebel Alliances’ X-Wing fighter. Meanwhile, videogames fans can try out the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront at a special booth opened by Disney. If you are good enough, you also stand a chance to win consoles and the game itself during the Battlefront challenges. The Star Wars : The Force Awakens Integrated Event runs from 10am till 10pm until tomorrow.

The PJ Festival returns this time, on a much larger scale than last year’s International Folklore Festival. This year’s celebration takes place at the Section 52 town centre around Jalan Yong Shook Lin. Several exhibitions and activities are waiting for visitors, including family sports, a fun ride and also a bike hunt. Those on the hunt for a bargain can also visit the flea market and there will also be a special appearance by rock band Wings. The festival runs today, from 9am till 11pm and tomorrow as well. Please note that Jalan Yong Shook Lin and the city centre’s Jalan Tengah will be closed, as will the Civic Hall’s public parking space. Free parking will be provided at Choy Fook On building, PKNS building, Wisma Persekutuan, Sungai Jernih Section 8, Taman Jaya and the IJM building.
