Walking on ink stamp helps visitors see ‘foot’ of the problem

A FOOT printing technique that saw thousands of visitors to FitForLife Fair Penang 2015 walk onto what looked like a large ink stamping pad helped the throng see the relationship between how they walk and what knee and back pains they were having.

By stepping onto a rectangular ink pad with a thick piece of paper laid on it while walking, visitors earned visual evidence when their gait was causing undue pressure on weaker parts of their feet.
