Wider room for local guides

SIBU: Tour guides in the state can now conduct their business statewide instead of being restricted to one particular place following a change in the law.

Sarawak Tourist Guides Association chairman Abang Azahari told a press conference yesterday that the move came about following the approval from the Tourism and Culture Ministry which allowed tourist guides to cover the whole state.
