KUCHING: The state government should allocate 10% of its 2016 budget to kickstart the agenda for autonomy in education and reviving English-medium schools, says Sarawak DAP.
Its chairman, Chong Chieng Jen, said this would come to about RM500mil of the state’s approximate budget of RM5bil and would be the most appropriate way to start the ball rolling on education autonomy.
