Mixed response to waste separation scheme

Precint 11 Putrajaya resident Mohd Nur Johari has started to practise separating the recyclable items before the waste separation scheme took place.

THE new waste separation scheme which started yesterday is getting a lukewarm response from residents in Kuala Lumpur.

Many seemed to be aware of the scheme but did not fully practise it, while those who are keen on separating their waste had been doing so for quite some time.
