A non-governmental organisation is calling on the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) to close Solok Perak, off Perak Road, to motorists to prevent accidents at the bottleneck.
Persatuan Kebajikan Insan Mulia president Aminah Abdullah said the stretch was too narrow to handle the high volume of vehicles at the junction.
