State-wide war declared against dengue

SIBU: The state is going all out against the spread of dengue by making it a must for all divisions to have their own Dengue Task Force Committee.

Assistant Minister of Public Health Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said after launching the state Dengue Task Force yesterday that with the committee, all divisions in the state could start to take measures to prevent dengue cases from spreading out of control, especially during the wet season from October to January where the number of cases was expected to increase tremendously.
