Plan to win heritage status for Gardens

PENANG will look into turning the century-old Botanic Gardens into a Unesco World Heritage site.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s political secretary Wong Hon Wai said they would have to work on the outstanding universal value before the site could attain heritage status.
