No comment from DoE about Klang factory pollution

THE Selangor Department of Environment (DoE) has issued a gag order on environmental investigation officers to stop them from giving comments on the pollution caused by the processing of aluminium dross at a factory in Jalan Haji Abdul Manan 1 in Klang.

One officer in the Selangor DoE office in Section 9, Shah Alam, who declined to be named, told StarMetro that no one could comment on the issue “but reporters could refer the matter to DoE Putrajaya’s Communications Department”.
