Sungai Asap water woes flushed out

KUCHING: The Public Works Department (PWD) has carried out works to address the dirty water affecting Sungai Asap residents, including flushing and cleaning the reservoir to improve the water quality.

Apologising for the dirty water situation, the state PWD said it found last Saturday that the raw water pumping system ceased operating due to technical problems caused by inconsistent supply of raw water.
