Penang registers 21% drop in crime this year

PENANG recorded a 21% reduction in the state’s crime index from Jan 1 to May 17 this year compared to the same period last year.

Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi said this was an indicator of the good cooperation between police and the public.
