FORMER factory operator Balkis Abdullah had to work overtime daily to fend for herself and her five children after her husband died of a heart attack 12 years ago.
“It was the most difficult time in my life. Every sen was spent on food and my children’s education and I did not have anyone to turn to,” said Balkis.
