TOMORROW, thousands of Buddhists across the country will be visiting temples to celebrate Wesak Day and pay homage to the Lord Buddha. The special day marks Buddha’s birthday and his attainment of enlightenment as well as commemorating his death.
“It is a special day for Buddhists and we hope to see many devotees coming to offer prayers and take part in our activities,” said Thai Buddhist Chetawan temple resident monk Rev. Woon Kitisakh Panyatipo.
