Cracking down to eradicate menace


While most of Metro Square, the area involved in the church cross controversy is a ghost town, with few shops opened, the most active seem to be entertainment, which hosts two snooker joints, including this one picture, and a karaoke centre one row over.

The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will continue to crack down on illegal activities in Taman Medan and its surrounding areas.

“We have been carrying out frequent raids in these areas,” said Petaling Jaya deputy mayor Johary Anuar.
