JMBs advised against raising maintenance fees

MANAGEMENT bodies for condominiums, apartments and flats are urged not to increase maintenance fees starting April 1 as such properties have been exempted from the goods and services tax (GST).

Selangor Building Management and Urban Living executive councillor Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad said management bodies must find new approaches and avoid increasing the maintenance fees so as not to overburden the people.
