No development should take place at PKNS sports complex

Kelana Jaya residents are mobilising again to save one of the last few green spaces left in central Petaling Jaya.

There will be no development taking place at the Selangor State Development Corporation’s (PKNS) Kelana Jaya sports complex as it is still classed as a recreational space.

Despite PKNS joint-venture partner Melati Ehsan Holdings Bhd stating in a local business daily that it was banking on the proposed 6.39ha Sports City project, the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) has not received any development order (DO) application on the issue.
