Red Crescent on 24-hour alert for CNY


All set to render help: DSP Saw handing over goodies and road safety pamphlets to a motorist after launching the CNY 24-hour ambulance services in Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth. With him is Yeang.

FIVE Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) ambulances and about 150 Penang branch members will be on 24-hour standby during the festive period to assist in emergencies.

Chairman Datuk B.J. Yeang said the MRC squads would be stationed at Permatang Tinggi near Bukit Mertajam, central Seberang Prai district, Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth, north Seberang Prai district and Batu Maung from 7am to 7pm.
