Stern warning for eateries that raise prices

SIBU: Eating outlets have been warned not to take advantage of the Chinese New Year celebration to raise prices of their beverages and food.

Sibu Coffeeshops and Restaurants Owners Association chairman Tong Ing Kok told a press conference yesterday that those caught doing so could be dealt with under the Anti-profiteering Act by the Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Ministry.
