Shorter time for contra-flow at LDP

Litrak has shorten the contra-flow at the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) by half an hour.

THE time period for the contra-flow at the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) has been reduced by half an hour following public feedback.

Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak) said it had shortened the contra-flow from 9.30am to 9am.

“Litrak has observed some changes in the traffic patterns of non-contra flow users.

“So we have shortened the contra-flow timing from 9.30am to 9am,” said Litrak communications manager Shah Rizal Mohamed Fawzi.

The contra-flow lane on LDP starts at KM21 (Kelana Jaya-bound), opposite the UOB and HSBC banks, and ends at KM18. It was introduced for a trial period from Dec 8 until Feb 27.

The lane is for light vehicles and is only implemented on weekdays, from 6.30am.
