Foo said the amount was collected from the ticket sales of the resort’s New Year’s Eve dinner. “We cannot be there to help the victims, but they are definitely in our thoughts, and we hope our contribution will help ease their burden,” she said after presenting the donation at the MRCS office in Ipoh recently. 

He said the money would be used for repairs of damaged properties, because food supply was adequate at this stage.
