WHEN it comes to whiskies, they don’t get bigger than Diageo. The world’s biggest spirits company (they own two of the world’s biggest spirits brands – Smirnoff vodka and Johnnie Walker), the drinks conglomerate is also the world’s largest whisky producer, with 28 malt distilleries, two grain distilleries, and a total of almost 12 million casks of whisky in their stores.
