988 deejays Chan Fong, Sam, Anson, KK Wong and Cheryl were among the local celebrities who took part in the viral ice bucket challenge.

The challenge – part of a social media campaign designed to garner awareness and support for the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease – is to dump ice water on yourself, post it on social media and challenge others to do the same.
