Tourism industry players in the country need to be more proactive and creative to draw more tourists to Malaysia, including using sports such as golf as an attraction.

Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) president Uzaidi Udanis said golf can not only attract international tourists to Malaysia, but also boost the local tourism sector.
