Top destinations for Malaysians who are celebrating locally are Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Melaka and Kuching, while those celebrating overseas are heading to Bangkok (Thailand), Taipei (Taiwan), Hat Yai (Thailand), Tokyo (Japan), and Seoul (South Korea).
