Local government body Transport for London (TfL) launched its first Night Tube services on the Central and Victoria lines on Friday, Aug 19, with services on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines to follow in the fall.
The Night Tube offers a 24-hour service on Fridays and Saturdays with trains on the participating lines running approximately every 10 minutes on average, as part of a new initiative by the government to further modernise the London Underground and bolster the city's public transport systems.
