To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Parmigiani Fleurier has unveiled the Carillon Tourbillon – a rare masterpiece that embodies the brand’s rich heritage, master craftsmanship, and Michel Parmigiani’s commitment to balanced design.
Limited to just five exclusive pieces, the watch draws inspiration from an early 19th-century Perrin Frères pocket watch, which Parmigiani Fleurier meticulously restored in 2000.
Entirely designed, built and hand-finished in-house, the Carillon Tourbillon breathes new life into a classic aesthetic by using a clean layout, open space and natural light to create a distinctly modern look.
Because the case of a chiming timepiece directly dictates the resonance, clarity and duration of its sound, every design choice serves a purpose.
The watch features an updated white gold case adorned with vertical grooves (or gadroons) inspired by the classical columns Parmigiani holds dear, giving the piece a striking architectural presence.

Shielded by a tall sapphire crystal, the front of the watch proudly displays the striking hammers alongside a hand-finished “Morning Blue” dial.
The true showstopper, however, is the set of four snake-like, wavy gongs.
These long, curved chimes beautifully mirror the historical pocket watch, giving the timepiece its captivating, unique look.
