Kalirra Isis Athelage Don is only 14 but she’s achieved an enviable accomplishment that many hikers can only dream of. Last month, she reached Nepal’s Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), one of the most popular treks in the Himalayas.

From Puchong, Selangor, she took five days to reach the campsite – which stands at 4,130m – passing through a varied landscape of jungle, rocks, waterfalls, avalanche areas and snow.
