Retiree Datuk Borhanuddin Osman and his friend, businessman Syed Ahmad Nazri Syed Kamarulzaman, look tanned after their recent beach holiday in Penang.

Over coffee and nasi lemak at Borhanuddin’s home in Kuala Lumpur, the sexagenarians engage in playful banter as they share photos of their trip with each other via WhatsApp.
