Beatrix Joyo was winning drawing competitions at school and her artwork was often featured on the bulletin board. Then at 16, she was asked by her high school headmistress to write all the students’ names in calligraphy on the Graduation Certificates.
“It was such an honour for me to be entrusted with such a formal assignment,” Joyo recalled when we met.
