Oh my, now this is a tough one. It is one thing to write a rave review about a great film, and another to pan a piece of garbage. But if a movie is as painfully and unremarkably average as Gallows Hill (alternate title: The Damned), what’s a writer to do? There’s nothing particularly bad about it, as it is in general a competently-made horror movie; but there’s nothing noteworthy about it either, as the movie is simply a grab bag of every horror film cliché imaginable.
