Before I was a parent, back in those leisurely days when I could sleep in as late as 7am(!) and I didn’t spend an hour every night watching a little monkey yell “Dada” in his bed before he went to sleep, I went to the dentist.

Not surprising. I’m sure many people go to the dentist, but what the dentist said to me surprised me. He mentioned that a patient of his had had one of her teeth knocked out by her toddler. Her toddler!
