Under the second movement control order for Penang, Selangor, Melaka, Johor, Sabah and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan, many non-essential businesses are required to work from home.

With that in mind, Canon Marketing Malaysia (Canon) announces the expansion of its popular PIXMA Ink Efficient G Series line up, which delivers higher volume printing and maintenance convenience.
The enhanced range consists of four new refillable ink tank printers, featuring a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge to minimise downtime, new and improved ink bottles to make refilling tanks easier, a two-line LCD display for quick access to settings and MAC OS compatibility for Apple users. It was purposefully designed to boost productivity in homes and small businesses environments.

Higher ink volume and diverse media range
For those in need of a cost-efficient printing solution that can drive productivity, the new Canon G series is a perfect choice. The new printers have enough ink to last years for most users, generating up to 7,600 pages for black-only documents and 7,700 pages for colour documents.
From office needs to home use, the new models can satisfy a myriad of requirements, such as photo printing. The printers can switch automatically between pigment black ink when printing text documents and line drawings, and dye-ink colour channels when producing full-borderless glossy photos up to A4 sizes.
Spill-proof ink refilling process
With the integrated front-facing ink tanks, it’s quick and easy for users to check the ink levels and refill when needed. The new spill-proof ink bottle for the Canon G series is designed to fit in the respective colour tank well openings.
This clever design not only allows users to complete the entire unboxing and setup process in mere minutes, but also keeps the workstation clean and mess-free.
Maximise productivity
The new Canon G series is designed with a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge and an automatic reset of the internal ink counter to ensure minimal downtime.
These features also help prolong the lifespan of the printers well beyond other conventional printers.
PIXMA ink efficient G3060 and G3020 all-in-one
The new PIXMA 3060 and 3020 printers feature print, copy and scan capabilities all within a single device. These multi-function printers are suitable for businesses with sizable printing requirements and a need for higher document print speed.
The PIXMA 3060 records 10.8 ipm for mono and 6.0 ipm for colour and the PIXMA 3020 logs in 9.1 ipm for mono and 5.0 ipm for colour. A two-line LCD panel is available to grant easy access to printer settings and view the printer’s status.
Embedded with wireless capabilities, users can print and scan1 from their smartphone, tablets and laptops through the Canon Print Inkjet/Selphy app that offers fine-tuned control of all printer settings and parameters.
For easier direct printing from mobile devices, iOS users can use AirPrint, while Android users can leverage on the Canon Print Service plugin, available on the Google Play Store.
The new Canon G series also supports voice activated printing via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
From meeting notes and to-do lists to greeting cards and colouring pages, users can print anything with a simple voice command. All hands-free, so they could tackle a wide variety of tasks at one time.
Beyond document printing, users can utilise Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint Editor app for iOS, Android OS, Windows and Mac OS platforms for all ID photo requirements, custom photo layouts, calendar and postcard printing needs.
Canon’s free-for-download PosterArtist Lite is another offering available for users, serving more than 1,300 preloaded templates, photos and clip art to design a wide range of flyers, posters suitable for different businesses.
PIXMA ink efficient G2020 all-in-one
Similar to the G3060 and G3020, the PIXMA G2020 (print, copy and scan) features a two-line LCD panel, making printer management simple, fast and convenient.
PIXMA ink efficient G1020
For students and home users, the PIXMA G1020 is the most cost-effective option within the new G series lineup. The page yield on this print-only model has been improved compared to the previous generation model, resulting in lower printing cost.
