Detecting a wound infection with a 'dot'

The blue dot is the device that can detect when a wound becomes infected and change colour to show it without having to open the dressing or bandage as is the current practice. — Queen’s University Belfast

The non-invasive indicator, which is around the same size as a fingertip, is the first of its kind.
