Covid-19 vaccines appear to affect some women's periods


Although disturbances to menstruation is not one of the listed common side effects of any Covid-19 vaccine, some women have reported such occurrences after they were inoculated. — AFP

Some women say their periods change after getting a Covid-19 vaccination.

In an editorial published in The BMJ on Sept 19 (2021), Imperial College London reproductive specialist Dr Victoria Male opines that a link between menstrual changes after Covid-19 vaccination is plausible and should be investigated.
