No, the Covid-19 vaccine doesn't change your DNA

One concern that has been triggered by the new mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid) technology used in the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines, is that it has the potential to change the vaccine recipient's DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid).

This video, presented by Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) medical graduate Dr Tikah Malek, addresses that concern.

It is part of the campaign against Covid-19 vaccine misinformation organised by Docere, a group of young doctors and professionals who aim to empower the public with health information.

StarHealth is partnering with Docere to show some of the videos they have produced for this campaign.

A new video will be uploaded every day at our webpage from March 8 to 14 (2021).
