I HAVE been taking papayas, tomatoes and carrots daily for some years. Lately, I noticed yellow undertones on my face and palms. Is this a side-effect of my diet? 

All the foods you have mentioned are rich sources of a group of compounds called carotenoids. They are antioxidants and are coloured compounds. If you eat large quantities of such food, the colour of your skin can be affected, as the carotenoids enter the bloodstream and are deposited in the skin.
