Instead of more stereotypes of poor Africans, celebrities could highlight the geo-political problems that allowed a disease like Ebola to spread so far and so fast on that continent.

TEN days ago, celebrity musicians came together in Britian to record a new version of 1980s hit Do They Know It’s Christmas. Bob Geldof and Midge Ure galvanised a new generation of artists, like One Direction and Elbow, to raise money for the Ebola crisis (go to bandaid30.com to donate).
