IT was meant to be a momentous graduation ceremony, held for what would only be the second batch of medical graduates to emerge from Somalia in the last 20 years. For a country entangled in more than two decades of armed conflict, these graduates would have been a vital boost to its urgent and dire medical staffing needs.
