My uncle, my mentor

He only had six years of schooling but continued to learn throughout his life. From him, I learnt to farm, fish and fight.

WHEN I was a young lad in Penang, the nearest person I had to a mentor was Uncle Kok. He was my mother’s younger brother and eight years my senior.
