Publishing petition

Once a winding up petition has been filed, the petitioner is entitled to advertise the petition despite payment being made.

THE winding up of a company occurs in various circumstances. One is where there is an inability to pay a debt. This is the ground that is frequently used by creditors against debtors. Of course, there are other grounds on which a company can be wound up, but this does not concern us here.
