Paediatric first aid training for parents

English training centre English Champ is organising training on Paediatric First Aid and Emergency Care Training for Adults.

It is in collaboration with the Malaysia Safety and Emergency Academy.

The training will be held on May 1, 2013, at English Champ, 1-8 (1st Floor), One Avenue, Dataran Pelangi Utama, Jalan Masjid, PJU6A, 47400 Petaling Jaya, from 9am-5pm.

The one-day training will cover:

- How to perform CPR under different circumstances such as drowning and choking;

- Wound management for minor and major injuries such as fall, incision, and amputation;

- Nose bleeds, burns and scalds of different degrees;

- Seizures;

- Bites and stings; and

- Head injury.

There are limited seats allocated for teachers and parents. Participants must bring their own stationery and a set of old clothing (T-shirt and shorts) for mock drill.

The fee is RM159 for registrations before April 15 and RM179 after that. The fee includes two tea breaks.
