Waffles are a favourite food for many. Some enjoy having their waffles with maple syrup and butter, while others like it with whipped cream and fresh fruit. Some like savoury waffles and have them with sausages, eggs or even fried chicken.

Waffles Day is celebrated annually in Sweden, Norway and Denmark on March 25. On this particular day, people eat waffles for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They have waffles with ice cream and even waffle sandwiches.

Here's what Starchild readers had to say on the topic, Waffles.
