Enid Blyton's 'Malory Towers' schoolgirl high jinks gets its own TV series

The 13-part live action series 'Malory Towers' is set on the Cornish coast in the 1940s and features midnight feasts, pranks and lots of lacrosse.

With Harry Potter's Hogwarts credited with making British boarding school stories cool again with kids, Canadian studio Wildbrain is shooting a "high-end cinematic" TV version of the book series' high jinks in the dorms.
