Hong Kong singer-actor Aaron Kwok is celebrating a lucky win, but the biggest reward may have gone to his employees.
The 60-year-old recently pocketed HK$1.06mil (RM550,948) after his racehorse Dancing Classics pulled off a stunning performance at Happy Valley Racecourse in Wan Chai, beating 20-to-1 odds to claim victory.
Rather than keeping the windfall for himself, Kwok reportedly spent HK$500,000 (RM259,939) to charter a private jet for eight members of his team travelling from Hong Kong to mainland China for work.
According to Hong Kong news portal Dimsum Daily, the aircraft was believed to be a Bombardier Challenger 650.
Photos circulating online showed Kwok dressed in an all-black outfit, beaming as he posed with his team inside the luxurious cabin.
One staff member later took to Weibo to thank the Heavenly King for arranging the flight, expressing appreciation for the thoughtful gesture.
Kwok's act of generosity quickly won praise from netizens, many of whom applauded him for valuing his employees. Others also dubbed him the "most generous boss".
