Chinese actress Tian Xiwei, who stars in this year’s popular costume drama Pursuit Of Jade, has once again caught fans’ attention – this time for her taste in snacks.

The 28-year-old, who has described herself as a self-confessed “snack lover”, revealed on a variety programme that her favourite treats are peanut butter biscuits and potato chips.

According to a report by China Press, she became visibly excited at the mention of the biscuits on the show, shouting “Peanut butter biscuits!” and momentarily dropping her composed on-screen image.

She even playfully turned into a “salesperson”, recommending the snack to fellow guest Zhang Yifan, who tried it and praised it as “really delicious” and “super tasty”.

Fans later discovered that the biscuit Tian raved about is from Malaysian brand Julie’s Biscuits.
