Renowned Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang recently celebrated his 73rd birthday with his annual star-studded charity event.

According to Hong Kong news portal HK01, the former TVB general manager hosted over 60 tables this year, raising over HK$3mil (RM1.5mil) in donations.

As the man of the hour, Tsang appeared in high spirits throughout the evening, moving from table to table to snap photos and personally greet attendees.

The guest list featured a host of familiar names, including Amy Yip, Roy Cheung, as well as Julian Cheung and his wife Anita Yuen.

Adding a heartfelt family touch to the celebration, Tsang’s children – Bowie, Derek and Mark – were also in attendance.

Bowie flew in from Taiwan to serve as emcee, while Derek took to the stage to deliver a moving birthday tribute.

Reports suggest the most eye-catching guest of the night was former screen goddess Chingmy Yau, who rarely makes public appearances.

She later joined Eric Tsang on stage to auction off calligraphy works and artefacts, which eventually fetched HK$450,000 (RM226,847), making a significant contribution to the charity fundraiser.
