Taiwanese singer Jerry Huang Shu-jun recently celebrated his 15th wedding anniversary with his wife Sophia Chang.
To mark the special occasion, Huang, 60, hosted a dinner at a lavish restaurant in Shanghai, joined by Chang – who's 24 years his junior – and their two children.
In a Facebook post on Monday (April 6), Huang expressed happiness at having Chang in his life, writing: "From the first day, I knew this day would come. I'm so happy to have met you."
The post was accompanied by photos from the evening, including a shot of the happy couple posing cheek-to-cheek and another of their two children together.
Many netizens flooded the comments section with well-wishes, while others praised Huang’s youthful appearance and Chang's striking beauty.
For the record, Huang first met Chang in the United States, and the pair got married in 2011 after just three months of knowing each other – when he was 45 and she was 21.
In a previous interview with international media, Huang described Chang as his ideal type, saying: "She's the girl of my dreams, even beyond my imagination."
It's worth noting that Chang had previously competed as a contestant representing the US on a talent show where Huang served as a mentor.
However, she failed to advance after a few onstage mishaps, and Huang joked in a later interview that he had accidentally eliminated his wife, promising to spend his "whole lifetime making up for it".
Regarding their significant age gap, Huang admitted that they have differing knowledge when it comes to pop culture.
However, their shared values help them get along smoothly and maintain a strong bond.
