Shinee’s Choi Min-ho and Physical: 100 star Hong Beom-seok clinched first place in the Doubles Race at AIA Hyrox Singapore 2026, delivering a standout performance at the National Stadium.
The pair completed the race in 56:21 to secure top spot in their category, while Min-ho’s individual performance ranked him fifth overall across all divisions, with a flawless, penalty-free effort.
They showcased strong teamwork and resilience to deliver a consistent performance throughout the gruelling race.
“It was an incredibly tough race. The venue was big and the weather was hot. I gave it my all without any regrets.
"Once again, endless thanks to Beom-seok. I will work even harder,” Min-ho wrote in an Instagram Story alongside a photo with his partner.
The duo tackled the demanding Hyrox format, which combines running laps with functional exercises including SkiErg, Sled Push and Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, Wall Balls and the final Roxzone segment.
Min-ho posted impressive splits throughout the race, including 2:05 for the 100m sandbag lunges, 3:37 for the 1,000m SkiErg, and 3:51 for the final wall balls segment.
Their total running laps clocked 30 minutes 51 seconds, with their fastest lap at 3 minutes 46 seconds, ranking 10th in that segment.
Beom-seok, a firefighter and runner-up in Physical: 100 Season 2, has previously appeared in the first season of Physical: 100 and reality shows Steel Troops and The Soldiers.
The weekend event also featured the debut of Jay Park in the Men’s Doubles category alongside his trainer Park Chan-so, along with appearances from other elite competitors such as Lululemon ambassador Amotti, Japanese fitness creator Shota Yamaguchi, Korean CrossFit coach Caro and entrepreneur Nico Bolzico.
Hyrox, a global fitness race format that combines endurance running with functional workout stations, has steadily gained popularity among both professional athletes and lifestyle fitness enthusiasts.
With high-profile participants and strong fan engagement online and on-site, AIA Hyrox Singapore 2026 is set to further elevate the event’s standing as a major regional fitness competition.
