Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may be walking down the aisle sooner than later.

The day after announcing his intentions to play a 14th season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Kelce indicated his intentions to marry Swift before NFL training camp gets underway, according to ESPN. The Chiefs effectively begin their new season on July 22.

The 36-year-old tight end reportedly hinted at a time frame during a brief visit to The Pat McAfee Show, where he credited the 36-year-old Look What You Made Me Do singer for inspiring him to continue playing football.

“We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said. “It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and, on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in an Instagram post shared on both of their accounts in August.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they wrote.

People reported the superstars’ wedding will be “a private affair and not a spectacle.”

Kelce first made an attempt to woo Swift following her July 2023 concert at Arrowhead Stadium, according to Cosmopolitan. They reportedly starting chatting informally in September. A short time later she showed up at Arrowhead to watch the Chiefs play. Swift was seated next to her future husband’s mum. - New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
