Emma Watson appears to be hard-launching her brewing romance with billionaire Mexican entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillrres after they were spotted sharing a kiss at an airport.

Watson made headlines on Thursday, March 5, after international outlets posted photos of her kissing Bailleres at an airport before they were seen dining together at a restaurant.

The airport photos showed a woman, said to be Watson, wearing a pink baseball cap, a gray long-sleeved top, and a floral-patterned skirt, touching the face of a man, reported to be Bailleres, who’s wearing a denim jacket over a white shirt and dark trousers before sharing an intimate kiss.

Other photos circulated online where the pair was photographed spending time together over an intimate dinner at an upscale restaurant. People, citing Spanish outlet Quién, claimed that Watson and Bailleres were first spotted hanging out in late 2025.

As of this writing, Watson and Bailleres have yet to confirm or deny the dating rumors.

According to Cosmopolitan, Bailleres is a member of a high-profile Mexican business family with ties to mining, insurance, retail and finance, including a well-known department store chain. He currently serves as CEO of AI tech company Lok.

During an appearance on Jay Shetty’s on Purpose podcast in September 2025, Watson said “she preferred to date people who aren’t overly familiar with her work as an actress.”

Watson, who rose to fame for her role in the Harry Potter film series, last appeared in the 2019 critically acclaimed film Little Women. She quietly stepped away from acting to continue her education.

The actress admitted that she missed using her “skill set” and the art of acting but doesn’t miss the pressure.

“I forgot it was a lot of pressure. I did a small thing for a play, just with my friends. I was like, ‘Bloody hell, this is stressful!’ And that wasn’t even for a real public audience or anything. I don’t miss that,” she said. – Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network
